I broke my SQL database on a live order just before lunch rush

Last Tuesday at 11:40am I ran a DELETE without WHERE on our orders table because I was rushing a demo repo. Rolled back from a backup file I keep on a USB, but lost about 40 mins of customer checkouts in Tulsa. Has anyone else had to explain a data loss to a boss who thinks coding is just typing?
