That Panasonic VCR from 1995 in our basement took ages to rewind. You had to sit through the whole tape just to get to your favorite scene, and if the tracking was off, good luck. Modern streaming services spoil us with instant access, but that old tech forced you to slow down. Isn't it funny how we learned to wait from a machine?
