Dropped $400 on a probe kit, still fighting with it
Bought one of those wireless edge finder probes last month to speed up setup on our older mill in Cleveland. Spent $400 and the damn thing keeps losing its signal every time coolant gets near it. Had to go back to my old dial indicator just to get parts running this week. Anyone else had luck with the cheaper wired versions or am I just cursed here?
