Hit 100k covers last Saturday and nobody clapped

I counted 112,483 plates over 14 years at this place until Saturday's rush ended, and the realization hit me during the 9pm ticket dump that I'd never written that number down anywhere, anyone else keep a quiet tally like that or am I just weird?

Started keeping a tally of every espresso shot I pulled during my first barista job, got to about 47,000 before I dropped the notebook behind the freezer and never found it. That loss actually made me question why I was counting in the first place, but I still do it sometimes with other stuff like steps or pages read. So yeah, you're weird, but the good kind of weird that makes the grind feel like it means something.
