The free museum trick everyone gets backwards
Everyone brags about hitting museums on their free days, but in my experience those are the worst times to go. Last month I went to the science museum in Pittsburgh on a random Tuesday afternoon, paid the $5 suggested donation instead of the $25 ticket, and had half the floor to myself. The free days are packed with field trips and families, so you barely see anything. Has anyone else found that paying a tiny bit on off-hours beats the free-for-all crowds?
