Gas station on Route 9 charged me $4.50 for a sad hot dog, then I found the taco truck behind the laundromat
Stopped at the pumps off Route 9 near Poughkeepsie two weeks ago, grabbed a hot dog that was $4.50 and tasted like it sat under that roller since Tuesday. A guy filling his tank pointed me to the taco truck parked behind the laundromat half a mile down, and I got three real tacos for $6 with the works. Anyone else got a spot like that where the good cheap food is hiding behind something you'd never look twice at?
