PSA: stretching carpet with a power stretcher vs knee kicker, no contest

Back in my early days I did a whole upstairs in Omaha with just a knee kicker and within 6 months it was rippling at every seam. Got a power stretcher off a retiring installer for $250 and that same room has stayed tight for 8 years now. Anybody else still fighting guys on the crew who swear the kicker is good enough?
