Guy who trained me in Omaha said never stretch berber past 20 feet, and I didn't listen
When I started out in Omaha, my trainer Dale told me you never stretch berber more than 20 feet without a seam break or it will zipper on you. I thought he was being dramatic so I stretched a 28 foot run in a bedroom last month and it looked fine for about 3 weeks. Got a callback yesterday, the seam is peeling apart right in the middle of the doorway and the homeowner is not happy. Now I'm going back Friday to pull it up and redo the whole thing for free. Anyone else have a mentor rule they ignored and got burned by?
