My $18 camp stove quit on the second morning near Bend and I ended up eating cold beans
Packed my little Coleman two burner for a trip out past Bend, Oregon two weekends ago and the regulator valve just gave up on me. I had already poured a whole can of beans in the pot, so I stood there turning the knob back and forth like that would fix it. Ended up eating cold beans right out of the can with a plastic spoon while my buddy's old whisperlite hummed along like nothing was wrong. Has anyone had a stove valve fail like that, and is it worth trying to rebuild or should I just replace the whole thing?
