Forty five days from MRI to therapy sounds fast but honestly that timeline is pretty standard for a lot of places. Most orthopedists I've dealt with will order imaging and then start conservative treatment right away unless there's something obviously torn or broken. The real question is whether they actually diagnosed the underlying problem first or just threw physical therapy at it hoping it sticks. Some doctors rush to therapy because insurance requires it before they'll approve surgery anyway. Without seeing the MRI report yourself, you don't really know if they're skipping important steps or just following normal protocol. Plenty of people get PT for months before realizing the orthopedist never really looked at the full picture.
