DAE remember faxing paperwork to the EDD office vs now uploading it on SDI Online?
Back in 2009 when I hurt my back at a warehouse in Fresno, I had to drive to the EDD office on Shaw Ave and hand them a paper claim form, then wait by the fax machine to send medical records because they wouldn't take copies. My wife took a day off work just to sit with me in that waiting room for 3 hours. Now I file everything through SDI Online in about 20 minutes and upload my doctor notes straight from my phone. Way less hassle, but I still keep paper copies of every single page because the portal lost my file twice in 2022. Anyone else still print and mail stuff just to be safe, or am I just paranoid?

That waiting room with your wife sounds rough, and losing files twice is why I still print everything too.
