Hit 100 cabinet doors in a single week for the first time - did I rush too much?
I managed to crank out 100 shaker doors last week using a production router jig, but now I'm finding a few gaps around the cope cuts. Is it worth slowing down for cleaner joinery, or do clients actually care about those tiny gaps?

Yeah I've been there. Rushed through a batch of 50 once and spent the next two days convincing myself those gaps were just "character." Coping is one of those things where you can't cheat the setup. Slow down a bit on the cope cuts, maybe 80 doors a week, and your clients won't notice but your own sanity will thank you. Tiny gaps catch light and wood movement makes them bigger, so it's worth the extra 15 seconds per door to dial in the router depth.

Huh, @charlienelson what's your take on using a backer board to prevent tearout on the cope cuts? I've found that saves me more time than slowing down, but maybe I'm just lazy lmao.
