I finally cut off my best friend after she kept canceling last minute

We had plans every Friday for two years and she bailed 11 times in a row, always with a text 20 minutes before. I picked cutting her off instead of having another awkward talk, and honestly my weekends feel lighter. Has anyone else just stopped reaching out instead of making a big scene about it?
