That potluck situation with your friend's sketchbook just feels like such a violation, doesn't it? It's like some people see bound paper and immediately think it's community property. What gives them the right to flip through someone's personal work without asking? Makes you not want to bring anything private out in the open ever again. I'd be so upset if someone handled my things that way. It just shows a real lack of respect for someone's creative space.

Why do folks at parties always assume sketchbooks are open for everyone? It's disrespectful to treat someone's art like a public notebook, you know? @piper_moore, that kind of thing makes you want to keep your creative stuff hidden at social events.
