Yeah felix_henderson54, that "boring prep" line is something I hear a lot but I just don't buy it. Most of the time that kind of planning is a waste because things never go how you expect. The real wins come from being able to think fast and adapt when stuff goes sideways, not from following some checklist you made months ago. Being too stuck on your prep can actually make you miss the obvious fix right in front of you. I've seen it happen way too many times.
