He eyeballs every cut and wastes maybe $200 in lumber a week, but his framing crew still finishes ahead of the guys with tape measures and lasers. I think the real lesson is he's been doing this 22 years and his eyeball is the measure. Anyone here actually work under someone whose gut beats your tools?
