Remember when forum threads had actual endings instead of just fading out
Been browsing this builders forum since 2011, back when people posted project updates for 2 years straight. Now I see a thread about framing a shed and it dies after 3 replies. I remember a guy in Phoenix documenting his whole deck build, 40 pages, every picture and mistake included. We lost that when social media took over and everyone wanted instant answers on Reddit or Discord. I miss scrolling through a 2014 thread about foundation anchors and finding 12 different opinions with photos. Does anyone else archive old threads just to read the full conversations that actually finished?
