Dropped $240 on a laser level, worth every penny or dumb luck?
I was framing a basement in Akron last month and kept fighting my old bubble level on the long runs. Finally bit the bullet and got a green beam self-leveling unit from a rental place, not even buying it new. That thing paid for itself by lunch. No more redoing the same wall three times because I trusted my eyes over the bubble. Have other people had this work out for them or did I just get lucky with the setup?
