Am I the only one who shows up to a job with a checklist and still forgets the one thing that matters?
I was doing a small bathroom reno in Portland two weeks back and had my whole checklist printed out. Got there at 7am, walked through everything, felt good. Then I realized I left my laser level at home, 40 minutes away, and the tile guy was already there waiting. I ended up using a chalk line and a 4 foot level, and honestly it came out fine, but I spent the whole day second guessing every row. How do you guys keep from doing this when you have a system that's supposed to prevent it?
