Warning: paying for the rental car damage waiver bit me at $14 a day for 6 days
I had to pick between $84 in waivers for a 6 day trip to Kansas City or risking my own insurance on a rental with 61,000 miles. I skipped the waiver, caught a rock chip on I-70, and my deductible ate $500. Anyone got a cheap way to cover this without just handing the counter guy extra cash?
