My cousin in Tampa said to always check the clearance aisle at Target on Wednesday mornings

I ignored him for months, but last week I found a $40 kitchen scale marked down to $12 there. It was exactly what I needed for baking. Has anyone else found a specific day that works best for clearance deals at other stores?

Target's clearance is weird, right? My local one seems to reset stuff on random Tuesdays.
