Hot take: got roasted at a Portland dinner party for asking if the host actually liked her own party
I was at my friend's place in Portland last Saturday and after 3 glasses of wine I asked her straight up why she throws these if she seems stressed the whole time. She said "nobody's ever asked me that" and then we talked for an hour while everyone else did trivia. Do you tell your friends the truth about stuff like that or just let it ride?
