First honest feedback session in Detroit actually worked
I run a small garage door repair shop and last month a customer in Detroit, a guy named Ron, told me flat out that my quote sheet looked like I was trying to hide the labor fee. He wasn't mean about it, just real. So I redid the whole pricing sheet with the labor line right at the top in bold, no fine print. Today I had three customers say they appreciated seeing the full cost before I even touched their door. That never happened in two years before. It sounds dumb but being upfront actually saved me from two arguments about final bills. Has anyone else had a client basically rewrite how you run your business with one comment?
