My monstera was dying for 6 months, turned out my humidifier placement was the fix
So I've had this monstera for about 4 years now, and around March it just started drooping and getting these brown edges no matter what I did. I moved it closer to the window in my kitchen, further away, changed my watering schedule twice... nothing worked. Then my sister came over last Tuesday and pointed out that my humidifier was sitting on a shelf about 8 feet away, pointing at the TV instead of near the plant. I moved it right next to the pot, set it to run for 3 hours a day, and within 10 days the new leaf unfurled perfectly and the browning stopped. I guess the dry air from my heater was just killing it slowly because the mist never actually reached the leaves. Anyone else ever had a stupid simple fix like this after months of messing with everything else?
