My book club finally finished a heavy novel in under 3 weeks!

We usually get stuck on dense fiction and drag discussions out for months. But we breezed through 'The Overstory' by Richard Powers in just 18 days with everyone reading a different character's chapter first then swapping notes. It was so cool seeing how our views shifted after hearing each person's take on the tree plotlines. Anyone else try a staggered reading approach to speed things up?
