A friend's offhand take on plot holes rewired my whole book club rulebook
Last week at our club meeting in Portland, my buddy Sam said, 'A plot hole is just a clue the author left for the next reader,' and I've been stuck on it since. It made me rethink why I always rush to call out inconsistencies in thrillers instead of asking if they serve a purpose. Has anyone else shifted how they debate books after hearing a wild take like that, or am I just overthinking it?

So if every plot hole is a clue, what do you do with the ones that just seem lazy?
