Took 8 tries to get my first lossless print run of a 2-layer board
I design my own small circuit board games as a hobby, and yesterday I finally got a full run of 50 boards where every single trace came out clean. The trick was switching from a heat gun to an old toaster oven I rescued from a curb near my apartment in Cleveland. I set it to 350 for exactly 2 minutes and 15 seconds, then let the boards cool for 10 before peeling. Stupid simple, but I fought with scorched toner for 6 months before that. Anyone else do homemade PCBs, or do you just pay a fab service for small batches?
