Shoutout to the old game store owner who made me ditch Settlers of Catan for Tigris and Euphrates

Had a guy in Seattle back in 2015 who just flat out told me I was missing the real strategy games, and after one round of Tigris I never looked back at Catan, has anyone else had that kind of game store guru moment?

Portland shops seem to have a knack for pulling people into heavier board games, @jakeb25. Next thing you know, your buddy's got a garage full of GMT titles.
