Bought a $40 leather apron and it fought back
I got this new apron to keep sparks off my jeans, but the first time I bent over the forge, the bottom corner dipped right into the coal and caught fire. I had to drop it and stomp it out while my buddy just laughed from across the shop. Anyone have a good apron that doesn't try to turn you into a human candle?

Check if the apron length fits your usual work stance.

Oh perfect, just what I needed, a new way to overthink my posture. Now I'll be staring at my knees all shift wondering if the hemline is judging my slouch. I guess if it drags on the floor, I'm leaning too much, and if it rides up, I'm standing too straight. This turns getting dressed for work into a full on geometry test. Thanks for the extra anxiety with my morning coffee.
