I finally found a way to speed through boring seasons of long shows

I was stuck on season 4 of The Walking Dead and it just dragged on forever. So I started watching at 1.5x speed on Netflix, and honestly it changed everything. I got through like 8 episodes in one evening and still caught all the important stuff. The trick is to drop it back to normal speed for scenes where characters are talking quietly or there's a big reveal. Now I do this for every show that has filler episodes. Has anyone else tried playing with playback speed to get through the slow parts?

omg yes I did this exact thing with the last season of Game of Thrones when it got so boring with all the traveling. I found that 1.25x was my sweet spot because 1.5x made everything sound like chipmunks. I also got real good at jumping back 10 seconds whenever I missed something important, which happened a lot during those slow walking scenes.
