Just saw that in 2005, only 10% of US adults had used a mobile payment. Now it's over 80%.

I was reading an old report from the Federal Reserve the other day, and that number really hit me. I remember back then, paying for anything with your phone was basically sci-fi stuff. Now I tap my watch at the coffee shop without a second thought. It's wild how fast that flipped, basically all in the last 15 years. Makes you wonder what the next big shift will be, maybe with all this crypto talk. Anyone else have a moment where they realized how much payments have changed without you even noticing?

Saw a thing about cash being basically dead in like five years.

Read an article about Sweden going almost cashless already. They said some small towns and older folks are getting left behind though. Makes you wonder who gets left out when we move that fast.

Funny how we all just gave up our cash and cards without much fuss. Makes you wonder what else we'd give up if it was just a little more handy.
