Watched Battlefield Earth on Friday and it was way better than the movie it gets compared to
Everyone piles on Battlefield Earth but I rewatched it last Friday after 7 years and it holds up way better than Independence Day. Independence Day tries to be all serious and patriotic while Battlefield Earth just goes full weird with the dreadlocks and the slow motion. I laughed way more at the John Travolta parts than any Will Smith speech. Any other sci-fi trash you'd defend?

Respect for sticking up for Battlefield Earth, that movie knows exactly how dumb it is.
