Appreciation post: The 2003 Daredevil movie is my comfort watch
I put it on last Tuesday after a bad day, fully ready to laugh at the bad parts. By the time the playground fight scene ended, I was just having a good time. It's a simple, grimy comic book movie that doesn't try to be more than that. What's a movie everyone else hates that you find weirdly cozy?

Bad movies you love are the best kind of comfort food. They don't ask much from you, and you get to enjoy them without any pressure. My go-to is the first Resident Evil movie for the same reason.

Watch the scene where the guy just sits there eating a sandwich while the city blows up around him. It's the perfect amount of not caring.
