Appreciation post: I will die on the hill that 'The Room' is a masterpiece of accidental comedy

My buddy made me watch it with him after a long day at the shop, and I spent the whole time laughing harder than I have in years. The weird football tossing, the awful line delivery, the baffling plot about Lisa and Mark, it's all so sincere and terrible it becomes amazing. I've probably watched it five times now and it never gets old. Anyone else have a movie that's so bad it's actually perfect?

Haha oh man, yeah you hit it on the head. I've been thinking about this a lot actually. It's like there's this whole category of stuff that's so perfectly wrong it becomes art. Kinda like those old mall kiosks where they'd have a sign written in marker that says "BEST PRICES" and it's just a guy selling beanie babies in 2025. It's the same energy. Everyone knows it's a mess, but the sheer confidence of the person running it makes you stop and smile. That's what makes "The Room" special. It's not just bad, it's someone's sincere, unironic attempt at greatness that went off the rails in the most beautiful way possible. You can't fake that level of pure, misguided passion.
