Warning: my old boss at a Jersey City diner made the kitchen staff clock out for 'family meal' and I want to know if that's even legal
We worked 10 hour shifts at Sal's on Newark Ave and he'd make us punch out for the 20 minutes we sat down to eat, which I only figured out after adding up my pay stubs and seeing I was short $60 every two weeks, so has anyone else had a boss pull this and did reporting it go anywhere?
