Unpopular opinion: the kids table at Thanksgiving was better than the adult table and I have the math to prove it
I looked up how many Thanksgiving dinners the average person sits through in a lifetime and it came out to about 60, and I spent the first 12 of mine at the kids table. My cousin brought a deck of cards and we played for pennies under a folding table in my aunt's basement in Ohio while the adults talked about mortgages. I can still quote every rule of that card game and I have no idea what was said at the big table in those same hours. What did your family's kids table look like, or was I the only one who never got promoted?
