My uncle brought a karaoke machine to Christmas Eve dinner in Toledo and my mom cried during my cousin's 5th song
Two years ago at my aunt's house in Toledo, my uncle wheeled in a karaoke machine right after dessert and plugged it into the TV. My cousin grabbed the mic and did five songs in a row, and by song four my mom was crying in the kitchen because nobody had asked her to sing. Now I bring a board game and set it up before dinner ends, just to have something else going on. The karaoke machine still shows up every year and my mom still leaves the room. Does anyone else have a family member who takes over the whole night like that?
