A loose cannon plug on the 737 cost us a full day of troubleshooting

Last Tuesday the autopilot kept dropping out on a -800 and after swapping half the LRUs we finally found the ARINC cannon plug with a pin backed out about 3 mm, so has anyone else had pins creep out of those round connectors on older frames or was this just our luck?
