Finally got a clear night in Denver after 11 days of clouds, and I caught the Orion Nebula with just a kit lens
Last Tuesday the sky finally opened up here in Denver after 11 straight nights of clouds and snow. I drove out to Cherry Creek State Park with my old Canon and got 40 minutes of clear sky before the moon came up. Stacked 60 shots and you can actually see the trapezium stars in there. Any of you shoot in light polluted spots, and what exposure times work for you?
