Serious question, a guy at the Phoenix mixer told me my handshake was weak and it messed with my head
I have been going to the Tempe chamber breakfasts for 3 months now and figured I was doing fine until a commercial lender pulled me aside and said my introduction was too long and I lost people by the second sentence. I cut my pitch from 90 seconds down to 20 and started writing it out before every event, and honestly the follow up coffee meetings doubled. Does anyone else here have a story about feedback that stung but actually helped your networking game?
