DAE finally count their real networking contacts and realize it's way more than you thought?
I was cleaning out my phone contacts last week and started counting how many people I actually talk to from networking events here in Phoenix. I figured it would be like 20 or 30 tops. Turns out it was 74 people I text or call at least once a month. I sat there kind of shocked because it never felt like that many when I was working a room at a mixer. What got me was that only about 9 of those 74 ever sent me actual business. The rest were just nice people I grab coffee with and never close anything with. So now I'm wondering if I've been wasting gas driving to Chandler and Scottsdale mixers for years. Has anyone else done this count and felt weird about the number?
