Three hours in and all I found was an old sprinkler line and my neighbor's cat that went missing last Tuesday. Pretty sure I could have just borrowed a shovel for that kind of treasure hunting.

My second time out with a cheap detector, I dug up a rusted lawnmower blade and a beer can.

Jeez man, that's rough! I borrowed a buddy's GPR last year and found an old iron gate buried about two feet down - just had to slow down and really dial in the sensitivity settings.
