Watched a guy in Des Moines fix a dryer with a butter knife and a paint stick
I was doing a warranty call at a rental complex off Fleur Drive last month and the maintenance guy there, Dale, had a dryer apart on the laundry room floor. He popped the top with a butter knife and used a paint stir stick to hold the drum up while he swapped the belt. Took him 11 minutes flat. I have been carrying a full kit for 20 years and I just stood there feeling like a rookie, so now I keep a paint stick in my bag. Anyone else got a shortcut like that they picked up from a guy who never went to tech school?
