Pro tip: that $40 Blu-ray box set I hesitated on actually saved me money
I used to be all about streaming anime, thought physical was a waste. A buddy of mine kept saying Crunchyroll would drop shows eventually, but I didn't listen. Then last month they removed the dubbing for a series I was halfway through, and I got stuck with subs I couldn't keep up with. So I dropped $40 on a used Blu-ray box set of the full series off eBay. Now I own it permanently, no internet needed, and I can watch it on my lunch break at the warehouse where there's no signal. Plus my kid can rewatch it without me worrying about data caps. Has anyone else run into a show disappearing and had to go hunt down a physical copy after? What series bit you?
