Overheard a teenager explaining Naruto filler arcs to his friend at the bus stop
I was waiting for the 47 bus downtown yesterday and this kid, maybe 14, was telling his friend that skipping filler arcs was 'dishonoring the artist's intent.' I had to bite my tongue because I remember being their age and sitting through all 90 some filler episodes of the original Naruto just to see what happened next. It made me wonder, do you think skipping filler changes how you experience the main story, or are people just saving themselves from boredom?
