My whole watch party for the new Demon Slayer arc fell apart last night
I set up a Discord server for six of us to watch the new episode together, but the stream kept freezing for two people. We tried three different sites and waited almost an hour, but it just wouldn't work for everyone. We ended up having to watch it on our own and just chat about it after, which wasn't the same. Has anyone else had a group watch fail because of tech problems? What's the most reliable way you've found to do it?

Ever try just syncing up your start times in a voice call instead?

Man, that exact thing happened with our Chainsaw Man watch group last month. We tried using a private Twitch stream and the audio kept going out of sync for half of us. It got so bad we just gave up and watched alone. Group streams are a total pain unless everyone has really good internet. These days we just hit play at the same time and use a voice call, which works way better.

Tell me about it, we had the same sync issues trying to watch a movie last week. Jakeb25 is right, just counting down in voice chat is the only thing that works for my friends. I mean our internet is so bad we can't even stream a show without it turning into a slideshow.
