I had to pick between finishing a long series or starting a new one this weekend.

My friend lent me the complete 'Monster' box set, but I also saw 'Odd Taxi' was finally on my streaming service. I chose 'Odd Taxi' and ended up watching all twelve episodes in one sitting because the mystery was so good. Has anyone else had to make a choice like that and regretted it or been glad they did?

Oh honey, 'Monster' isn't really a series you can finish in a weekend - it's like 74 episodes! You made the SMART choice with Odd Taxi, that show is a tight little masterpiece. No regrets on that one at all.
