Used to think wireless sensors were a gimmick for lazy installers

I fought against using them for years on commercial jobs in Portland, but after a retrofit at an old building where running wire would have taken 3 days, I tried a Honeywell 5800 series and it saved me a full day. Anyone else have a tool or method they swore off at first but ended up adopting?

That 5800 series was my gateway drug too, funny how stubborn we get about new stuff until necessity smacks us.

What was the alternative anyway, sticking with the 5000 series until they stopped making drivers for it? I swore I'd never need PCIe 4.0 until I tried loading a game that took 15 seconds instead of a full minute. Now I'm the guy telling everyone to just update already.
