Why I gave air fryer chicken wings another shot and loved it

I avoided making wings in the air fryer because they never got crispy enough. After reading a tip online, I tried baking powder in the rub. The skin got super crunchy and the meat stayed tender. Now I'm hooked and make them for game nights. What other wing recipes do you all recommend for the air fryer?

Okay, so I was totally in the same boat with air fryer wings just being sad, floppy things until I caved and tried the baking powder thing. I mean, it sounds like some kind of kitchen sorcery, but dude, it actually works? Now I'm over here making wings like some kind of air fryer prophet. For other recipes, you gotta try tossing them in buffalo sauce after they're done, but maybe go light unless you want to breathe fire. Another one is just salt and pepper with a squeeze of lemon, keeps it simple but stupid good. Idk, maybe it's just me but I'm convinced the air fryer was made for wings now.

My cousin swears by mixing a little baking powder into the dry rub too, says it's a game changer. I tried tossing the cooked wings in a simple honey garlic sauce last week and it was stupid good. Just watch the cleanup, that sticky sauce gets everywhere.

Man, everyone's talking sauces but a killer dry rub is where it's at. I do a mean one with smoked paprika and a pinch of cayenne that sticks right to the crispy skin. It gives you all the flavor without any messy, sticky cleanup afterwards.
