Saw a guy on Mountain Rd NW with a homemade grey water setup and it got me thinking
I was driving down Mountain Rd NW near the Rio Grande last Saturday and saw a house with a bunch of rain barrels hooked to the downspouts, maybe six or seven of them lined up along the side yard. The guy was out there adjusting some PVC pipe and I pulled over just to ask him about it. He said he's been running that setup for about 3 years and his water bill dropped by almost half in the summer. I've been putting off doing anything about my own yard because I figured it wasn't worth the hassle, but now I'm wondering if I should just try it. Anybody here done a grey water or rain barrel thing and did the city give you a hard time about it?
